Organization
Comcast Corporation is the largest cable television provider, the 2nd largest internet service provider, and 3rd largest phone company in North America, employing over 100,000 individuals in their 300+ offices.
Executive Conference Center
Satisfying Comcast’s requirements for large presentation meeting rooms, VCA constructed the Executive Conference Center, which takes up the entire 45th floor of the building. The 17 rooms of the Executive Conference Center contain 103” Panasonic Plasmas and are also outfitted with Crestron controls, ClearOne audio systems, and speakers from Soundolier and Tannoy. VCA also constructed the Comcast Executive Board Room which utilizes a massive rear projection system.
Comcast University
The Comcast University on the 42nd floor contains some of the more unique A/V rooms of the Comcast Center. VCA was challenged with installing A/V solutions for multi-purpose spaces that included 3-way Divisible Conference Rooms and a Screening Room. The 3-way Divisible Conference Rooms contain discrete display, control, and sound systems to satisfy any configuration of the rooms. The Screening Room is a Tiered Multi-level Classroom utilizing front-screen projection and multi-format input sources, displaying content from many different media types.
