Dr. Hyde's clinical interests include gastrointestinal surgery, surgical oncology, wound management, and minimally invasive surgery, such as laparoscopic ovariectomy and gastropexy. Dr. Hyde is available for appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays and performs surgeries on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Dr. Brittany Hyde joined VCA West Los Angeles in September 2022. She is originally from southern California and completed her undergraduate studies at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. After receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Colorado State University. She was then accepted to a collaborative small animal surgery residency at Washington State University and WestVet Emergency and Referral Center located in Boise, Idaho. During her residency, she earned her Master of Science in Veterinary Sciences from Washington State University.

Dr. Hyde's professional interests include teaching and mentoring the future generation of veterinarians. She enjoys collaborating with other specialists to bring forth the best care possible for her patients.

Dr. Hyde shares her home with her two sphynx cats named "Penelope" and "Willow". She likes spending time with her family, being outdoors, painting, trying new foods, and tending to her houseplants.
