On February 8, 2017, we announced that all of our hospitals in the Associate Veterinary Clinics family in Canada will now operate under the VCA Canada name. This is an exciting time for VCA as a whole and we are excited to share this news relating to our Canada family.
Our hospitals will still have the same dedicated local teams. The great relationships with the caregivers at our local hospitals won’t change. We will however be able to offer the extended benefits available through our broader network. The VCA Canada name represents our commitment to our clients and their pets in delivering superior patient care and exceptional client experiences, and to our ongoing leadership in the veterinary profession.
Together we will strive to have our clients, patients, teams and the communities we serve, feel Valued, Connected, and Affirmed in every interaction with us.
VCA Canada – Caring for Life’s Greatest Companions
To celebrate the rebranding, the VCA Canada team came together to share their story. As stated by Stefan Horsky, President, VCA Canada, “We have a wonderful story to tell”. The VCA family helps not only the pets that are brought to the hospitals around the country, but also many pets and families through rescue, disaster relief and charitable events.
“It’s a gift that we’ve been given to care for these animals in our hospitals everyday”, says Jenny Danyliw, Senior Operations Director, Ontario, VCA Canada. Through other programs such as Paw It Forward, VCA in Canada helps pets of the homeless and gives them nutritious pet food they may not otherwise be able to acquire.
The brand means something to our staff and the tagline represents how we feel about pets. Caring for Life’s Greatest Companions: Bob Antin, CEO states,
“As a company for me, as one of the people who founded it, it was always meant to have a heart”.
