Our veterinarians come with more than 100 years of combined veterinary experience. They provide the highest level of veterinary care available for dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, rabbits, reptiles, and pigs. VCA Westlake Village Animal Hospital is here to serve Los Angeles and Ventura County. We are open on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. We are closed on Saturdays, and all major holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day).
Our skilled overnight technical staff can provide nursing care overnight if your pet ever needs to be hospitalized with us. Please note that we do not have a veterinarian on premises overnight, but rest assured that if your pet needs to be hospitalized overnight at our facility that they are in good hands! Our overnight technical staff will be in direct contact overnight with one of our veterinarians with any pertinent information regarding your pet. If your pet needs more involved overnight care and monitoring, we will recommend that you have your pet transferred to a 24-hour facility where they can be under the direct supervision of a veterinarian.

Dr. Rosenstein has called the Conejo Valley his home since 1967. He attended the University of California at Davis, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Zoology, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1982. Dr. Rosenstein owned and operated the Agoura Westlake Animal Hospital in Westlake Village for more than 20 years before opening Westlake Village Animal Hospital.

Heather is a Southern California native. Heather's love for animals led her to starting her veterinary career in 2004. In the last 15 years, she has worked as a kennel attendant, customer service representative, and veterinary technician manager. She graduated from Los Angeles Pierce College in 2009 with an Associates of Science degree. Shortly after graduating, she passed the Veterinary Medical Board and became a Registered Veterinary Technician.
